A National Collaborative

PRIVATE medical records is a collaborative working group that has been meeting since January of 2023 to advocate for the protection of legally sensitive medical records from interstate sharing.

The group includes individual providers, attorneys, compliance officers, privacy advocates and others from organizations including If/When/How, UCLA Law Center on Reproductive Health, Law, and Policy, Planned Parenthood regional affiliates, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) national and regional affiliates, Digital Defense Fund, University of California in San Francisco, NYC Health and Hospitals, Electronic Frontier Foundation, Center for Democracy and Technology, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) national and regional affiliates, Kaleida Health, Public Policy Partners, and others.

PRIVATE medical records is a project of The Community Health Promotion Project (CHPP), a 501(c)(3) EIN: 06-1646697. All donations are tax-exempt.

The Community Health Promotion Project is a 501(c)(3) Not-For-Profit launched in 2002 to promote the integration of comprehensive reproductive health services into primary care medical practices and support clinicians to establish these new models of patient-centered reproductive care.
